I spent the past six months working on this site. I was curious enough to build it from scratch because I didn’t want to rely on pre-existing templates (though I am not opposed to them, since Cargo and Readymag do make good & flexible templates). I believe that websites have evolved into the first interaction a visitor has with an organization, a company, or a person they are attempting to reach. Over time, this has evolved from verbal to physical and currently into the digital form. Therefore, a digital interface feels like a necessity for an academic/professional to build their network and initiate collaboration.

I built this with Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), pure CSS, and HTML5 using Vite. The 3D geometry is rendered via Three.js (WebGL), featuring procedural canvas cursors and real-time live chat powered by Supabase. Completely developed as a template-free passion project through natural prompting (apparently, people are calling it "vibe coding" now). The project utilized AI-assisted workflows (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, Nemotron, and Qwen in Antigravity IDE & VS Code).

I learned that Socrates was a street philosopher who presented himself as a curious individual probing others through questions. This approach fosters a form of dialogue that tests the consistency and logic behind one’s beliefs, a method of inquiry I find quite fascinating.
